Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an advanced training program by the American Heart Association designed for healthcare professionals who manage critically ill or injured children and infants. The course focuses on advanced interventions, including effective recognition and management of respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac arrest, along with airway management, resuscitation team dynamics, and pediatric-specific pharmacology. PALS equips participants with the skills to provide high-quality care in pediatric emergencies. Upon completion, participants earn a PALS certification, valid for two years.
